Fuhh, baru balik dari umah  tok n umah pak teh...

Misi yang sama, "perbaiki laptop/computer" n sewaktu dgnnya

Aku tadi pi umah tok dlu, nk tgk masalah komputer pakcik aku..(pakcik aku singgah umah tok), dia col aku..aku datang la...masalah laptop dia( windows vista home basic) xbole nk connect wireless kat evdo streamyx padahal kalau pasang cable cat5 boleh pulak, for da same time makcik aku pulak xbole nk connect wireless + lan cable skali (mini laptop, windows 7 starter). aku cuba punya cuba..last2 xbole jgk...yg pakcik aku, aku dah delete wireless profile n add balik still xbole..dia jadi cannot konet..macam2 aku cuba...delete, restart, modify...n blablabla...akhirnya still buntu...yg makcik aku plak...dia jadi limited access..cam tut jer...aku buat apa pon xbole..padahal mgikut experiences aku yg lepas2, aku menemui kejayaan dalam masalah tersebut!!!...aku strt kul 3 cantu...n feddup pada pukul 4 lebih sbb makcik n pkcik aku nk pi kluar....dalam makcik n pkcik aku nk pi kluar dia boleh parking RM20 kat dlm beg aku...=.='...napela diowg bg...aku nk bg balik..dia trus lai/tepis..rase bersalah aku...sbb tula aku xske jd traveler technician...aku buat keje basic pon dapat duit byk2...sebelum ni pon same jgk...kat tmpat lain...aku just nk tolong...

lpas habis g umah tok, aku g umah pakteh lak..kat sini aku format trus komputer dia sbb byk sgt virus....yg ni kes dia simple ja...format2 trus habis keje..kjap jer format ni...sbb slalu sgt dok buat...(windows Xp)...yg ni aku balik kul 10 lebih.....lpas je salam...pakteh aku salam dengan duit rm20 jgk...ya Allah..aku bg balik..dia xnk, aku nk bg kat anak dia pulak, makteh kata, 'ala ang amek ja duit 2, len kali mai la lagi, ka xcukup ka duit 2...sebab tu mai lmbat.....(yer aku dtg lewat pon sbb g umah tok) n tdoo..hehe....

Aku post sal ni pon sbb nk bg diri aku ingat jugak...

smoga aku ingat jasa2 adik2 bradik, spupu2 ni....smoga Allah bg limpah rahmat..rezeki yg limpah kurnia kepada mereka ya Allah....permudahkanlah urusan mereka, murahkanlah rezeki mereka...ya Allah..aminnn....smoga kelak aku dapat tolong mreka2 yg dlm kesusahan...

aku hanya inginkan kegembiraan mereka yg berpnjangan.....bg org lain RM40 tuu jmlah yg sedikit..tp bg aku....jmlah itu amat besar...besar disisi Allah s.w.t insyaAllah....ya ALLAH permudahkanlah urusan org yg menempa kebaikan ya Allah....permudahkan juga urusan aku dan kluargu ini ya Allah Aminn..jadikan aku insan yg selalu bersyukur kepadaMu Ya Allah....

Pastikan Komputer Selamat Dari Virus!

Selalunya orang tidak perasan atau tidak tahu bahawa ada virus didalam komputer mereka. kebanyakannya orang sedia maklum, tetapi mereka tidak tahu menahu dari mana datangnya virus2 ini..ngehaha. Kita tidak dapat mengelakkan diri daripada beronline internet 24jam..jadi tibalah masa..."prevention is better than cures" betul atau tidak..haha...elak lagi bagus daripada nk format balik komputer tuu.

Kebanyakan virus yang terlekat pada komputer tuu sebab sistem komputer tuu xup-to-date, bermakna dia ambil kesempatan terhadap Antivirus software yg tidak diupdate, browser lama, browser plugins, atau application lama yg kamu bukak tu, dia ambil kesempatan terhadap process komputer, atau curi data cmputer. Cara nk selesaikannya masalah yg popular tu cuma updatelah antivirus tu, windows update..browser tu pastikan update.

Tengok sama apa yg kita download amatlah penting. Tp expert pon xtahu sgt file yg korang download tu ok ker x..tp nk elak dia mudah jugak, cuma pastikan sumber dia adalah yg boleh dipercayai. kalau korang xbrapa nk sure virus ker x..tengoklah user comments, feedback tentang apa yg nk didownload tu. satu lagi, kamu jgn la gatal nk download apa yg terpopups kat browser kamu tu..pangkah jer..jgn gatal tgn nk click n download, risiko virus amatlah tinggi.

Juga, adalah penting bagi kita memilih antivirus yg sesuai, walaupon kebyakan antivirus menawarkan penjagaan daripada virus attack, ia juga perlu berjalan operasinya didalam komputer secara tidak henti, ia myebabkan komputer kamu slowdown. Tp xpa, kamu menerima protection daripadanya. Contoh yg terbaik antivirus adalah Avast, dimana unlimited free use and update.

Semudahnya, praktikkan penggunaan internet yg boleh memastikan kita jauh dari infection dan memastikan data dan computer kamu selamat. Jika kamu tidak tahu bagaimana hendak remove virus..tnya saja encik kedai....tapi bagi aku la..lebih senang kita blajar sendiri...tuu..encik google ada. :D.. selamat beramal

Virtual Box made easy to try Operating System

VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.
Some of the features of VirtualBox are:

• Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox.

• Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.

• Guest Additions for Windows, Linux and Solaris. VirtualBox has special software that can be installed inside Windows, Linux and Solaris virtual machines to improve performance and make integration much more seamless. Among the features provided by these Guest Additions are mouse pointer integration and arbitrary screen solutions (e.g. by resizing the guest window). There are also guest additions for OS/2 with somewhat reduced functionality.

• Shared folders. Like many other virtualization solutions, for easy data exchange between hosts and guests, VirtualBox allows for declaring certain host directories as "shared folders", which can then be accessed from within virtual machines.

• Remote Desktop Protocol. Unlike any other virtualization software, VirtualBox fully supports the standard Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). A virtual machine can act as an RDP server, allowing you to "run" the virtual machine remotely on some thin client that merely displays the RDP data.

• USB over RDP. With this unique feature, a virtual machine that acts as an RDP server can still access arbitrary USB devices that are connected on the RDP client. This way, a powerful server machine can virtualize a lot of thin clients that merely need to display RDP data and have USB devices plugged in.

How To Delete Virus by Using Command Prompt (CMD)

Microsoft Command Prompt "attrib" is a very useful tool to check if your hard drives even your flashdisks have been infected by a virus.
You will know if a Malware is inside your hard drive just by looking at the attributes of each files and the file that has the attributes of +s +h +r

The function of attrib is to set and remove file attributes (read-only, archive, system and hidden).

Launch attrib To start attrib

1. Go to Start Menu > Run
2. Type cmd (cmd stands for command prompt)
3. Press Enter key

The Command Prompt will appear showing us where is our location in the directory.

Using attrib

To use attrib

1. Go to the root directory first by typing cd\(because this is always the target of Malware / Virus)

2. Type attrib and press Enter key

                      after typing attrib, all the attributes of all the files (excluding folders) will be shown
In this example, I have two files that are considered as malware.
Note that there are two files which I outlined in red (SilentSoftech.exe and autorun.inf). Since you cannot see this file nor delete it (because the attributes that was set on these files are +s +h +r)

1. +s - meaning it is a system file (which also means that you cannot delete it just by using the delete command)
2. +h - means it is hidden (so you cannot delete it)
   
3. +r - means it is a read only file ( which also means that you cannot delete it just by using the delete command)
   

Now we need to set the attributes of autorun.inf to -s -h -r (so that we can manually delete it)

1. Type attrib -s -h -r autorun.inf ( be sure to include -s -h -r because you cannot change the attributes using only -s or -h or -r alone)
2. Type attrib again to check if your changes have been commited
3. If the autorun.inf file has no more attributes, you can now delete it by typing del autorun.inf
4. Since SilentSoftech.exe is a malware you can remove its attributes by doing step 1 and step 3(just change the filename) ex. attrib -s -h -r silentsoftech.exe

      a) I typed the attrib command with the -s -h -r setting b) the result after I presse enter                   -autorun.inf has no attributes left
There you have it!!!!
NOTE : when autorun.inf keeps coming back even if you already deleted it, be sure to check your Task Manager by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE ( a virus is still running as a process thats why you cannot delete it. KILL the process first by selecting it and clicking End Process.
NOTE: You can also apply the attrib -s -h -r command to all the partition of your computer, drive D: drive E: drive F: (all of your drives). For example. for drive D, just type "D:" (minus the double quote) then you can see that your current drive is D.. type there the command "attrib -s -h -r *.exe" for exe files and "attrib -s -h -r *.inf" and then delete the file by "del autorun.inf".

firstly..prevention is better than cure....so it much worth if you prevent it.r your computer will be heavy with virus infection.

What is a Virus? and why can be infected? 

Simply put a Virus is a Malicious Software (MalWare) created by people who wants to destroy.. your files, your computer, your flashdisk...

(NOTE: Virus and Malware will be used in this article interchangeably)

Now, How do there Malware infects your computer?

• Downloading pornographic materials, games and applications in untrusted websites
• Downloading files through peer-to-peer programs (e.g. limewire, torrent, ares)
• inserting your flashdisk to other infected computer and inserting it back to your computer without scanning it first

Ways in preventing Virus infection on your Computer

• Disable the auto-play feature of your computer (for windows). Here's the link from Microsoft detailing how to disable the autorun feature of windows NOTE: please use this at your own risk because some of the steps involves editing the registry.
• Make sure that you have the latest update of your Anti-Virus definitions. Updating your Antivirus is one of the best prevention from Malwares, so do it regularly.

NOTE: If your Antivirus couldn't delete the malware you can Safe Mode you computer by following this:

1. Restart your computer
2. After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually; Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
3. Select Run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
4. Then scan your computer using an updated Antivirus.

• SCAN FIRST! Each and everytime you insert a USB drive/flash disk on your computer don't forget to scan it first. (Given that your Antivirus is up-to-date).
• You can also install utilities that will check the flash disk that you inserted for malware infection. Search it on Major Geeks (this is not an affiliate site)

CCleaner is an amazing program! It is designed to clean out all the useless temporary files slowing down your system, and to make some minor changes to the Windows registry, getting rid of changed or missing values. I differ with the editor on his review of CCleaner in that you CANNOT accidentally delete programs. Instead, I will tell you it is possible to delete cookies, which is what CCleaner does. If you use a mail service like Yahoo!, it is necessary to go into the options/cookies menu and preserve cookies like Yahoo! and others if you are using an automatic login to any service. It only takes a couple minutes to make this adjustment.

I was amazed the first time I used CCleaner. I have never seen so many temporary files and unnecessary cookies! After using it for about a year, I now install it in any system I build, and I recommend it to all users with a Windows operating system. I have tried many cleaners and all have failed to impress me except this one.

This one is a MUST-HAVE! If you are not yet using CCleaner, I urge you to download/install it now!

Best: updates readily available, easy to install, user-friendly, easy to use GUI, reports all information on files and registry issues found, easy editing of list, automatic settings available.
Worst: Not enough people use CCleaner, and too many fear using this Must-Have utility!usually use both.

What is a hard drive? Often people think a hard drive is their entire computer system as they see it, and others think that it is something hard or solid in the computer. It actually is a storage device inside your computer, and yes, it is hard. . This is hiding inside your computer and is where all your data is stored when you save it. You may never see your hard drive unless you happen to open up your computer to fix a problem. A hard drive is merely one of the many components that contribute to your computer system as a whole.

What is the difference between Hard disk and Hard drive?

It can be confusing when someone is talking about a hard drive and you call “it” a hard disk or hard disk drive. You think to yourself “what are they talking about?” Well this is crazy, but they are talking about the same thing. A hard disk and a hard drive have been made up over the years. Originally the main storage device was called a hard disk and we had floppy disk drives. Eventually the words got mixed up and blended.. That’s my theory anyway.

3.5″ Desktop Hard disk drive:

The picture below shows a 40 gigabyte (the size or capacity) hard drive, 7200RPM (the speed or revs per minute). The 3.5″ hard drive is pictured on the left. We used to only have one option when buying a hard drive, however now there are three or more types to choose from. See more pictures of hard drives.

2.5″ Laptop Hard disk drive:

A laptop hard disk drive is considerably smaller than a normal desktop hard drive and also cost more. If you wanted to buy a 500gb laptop hard drive it would be very expensive, whereas a 500gb desktop hard drive is around $100. See more laptop hard drives.

Cd rom or DVD Drive:

This is where you put a cd rom or a DVD disc in. It could be a drive that can also read and write on cds or DVD disks. Plain old Cd roms are nearly obsolete as everyone now wants a DVD burner.. With dvd rom drivesyou can backup your dvd’s onto a DVD writeable disc. There is no point buying a cd rom when dvd rom drives are the same price and have more features.

Floppy disk drive:

This is the smaller drive that takes those little plastic square shaped disks. They are rarely used now as they are no longer needed for a boot disk if you have a cd rom or DVD burner. In fact most new computers are sold without a floppy disk drive as they are obselette.

External Hard drive:

An external hard drive can come in two sizes like the desktop hard drive and the laptop hard drive. After all an external hard drive is just a case housing one of these hard drives. So if you have a 2.5″ external hard drive , this means it contains a laptop hard drive.
Now days we every second household owns an external hard drive. They are used to store files on safely away from the computer you are working on. For example, you can save your photos onto an external hard drive and if your computer crashes they will still be safe because they are not stored on your computer. There is no excuse if you do not own one of these fantastic storage devices as you can buy a 1 TB external hard drive for well under $100. That size hard drive can hold thousands of movie, songs, and more… It will store everything.
